Veduta

As part of an original initiative, the 2013 Lyon Biennial asked over 70 artists to lend a work to an inhabitant of the greater urban area. It was then up to each of these hosts to understand and show their adopted work, and to recount the experience.

“Veduta”, the web-documentary, is the story of Pierrette, Marie-Claude, Anna, Martine, Ayoub and their families, who over a period of 4 months, lived with a painting, a video installation, or a sculpture, that they themselves had not chosen

.
Retirees, a social worker, an industrial draughtsman, an amateur painter, the former landlady of a bistrot… they live Vaulx-en-Velin, Givors, Oullins or Lyon. None of them are specialized in contemporary art. All are volunteers.

Object in mirror took care of the graphic design and the technical development of the webdoc.
